Tatting is such a lost art.  I've tried my hand at it a few times but it's not something I have a real desire to do.  I'm so glad Cara has it!

Twiz, thanks for saving me 5 more oz of that roving.  It is a dream to spin!!

*blushes*

Thanks, I always feel as though I'm pushing a dead craft. Steampunk has sparked a new feeling in me.

however, I must *bow* to a real master:

I don't have the courage to wear the stuff she has, but love the creativity in it.

However, I'll post some tatting next month for sure. Great idea, AQ!

AQ i love your steampunk jewellery but i'm already in debt 4 points for custom orders. maybe someone would like custom embroidery or cross stitch? or something needle felted?

i love inchies but i like to trade them separately from my shop. it's more fun for me to create them for individual people.

i've seen some awesome tatted chokers and bracelets, that would be a great idea!

Hello, everyone!  I hope you are all having a great Thursday.

I had the chance to take a stained glass jewelry class last night.  So much fun!  I had a bag of costume jewelry that I brought along and was able to incorporate some of the piece into my stained glass!  Take a look.  Give me an opinion.  I was thinking about putting them in my shop.

This one isn't acutally stained glass, but a picture between beveled glass.

Thanks for looking!

this had crossed my mind. It's cotton with a viscose thread throughout it, so i am afraid that even if i do overdye it it will still have this overly-sparkly thread through it. oh well. The hat is a fun, quick knit so i will ride it out and see what happens.

today I am dying my first yarn with wiltons dye, knitting more on this possibly-too-feminine hat and messing with my hand cards for the 1st time.

I am having a hard time wanting to rip this hat, because it would be SO cute for a girl (maybe me...hehehe), but he was going to pay me for the yarn, and now i don't know what to do...hmm.

You know you can just overdye the hat with blue or gray or brown or whatever manly color.  Then you can continue knitting.  Smiley

bkrenning, those pendants are cool!

courdoroy cat, I'm still bummed I didn't get the taxidermy bunny. I'd claim (or swap for steampunk jewelry) anything like that. And I'll always take custom cross stitch, I'd just have to think what I want. Ohhh, I know! One that says "Pave the World". That'd be super-sweet. (And I don't mean it literally, so I hope none of our environmentalists take it the wrong way. Smiley  )

Twiz, I already have a cat one set aside for you as your OWS thanks. I just need to put it with some other goodies and mail it out. Wink

well the bunny was a HUGE hit!!  My sister loved it anyway (my BIL was out of town and she couldn't wait to open it...it was meant to be their anniversary present)

AQ I would love a steampunk ring or choker in silver tones.  Since I didn't get a chance to open this month, hopefully I'll be able to get some things finished next week so I can get me some points.  I'll be glad when the Relay for Life is done on June 12, all this fundraising work is seriously cutting into my crafty life.

I finished the two things I've been working on this week:

Vlyr the white fluffy dragon is now available for 3 points:

For more pictures see my shop. Mostly acrylic yarns though his accent is wool from hobby lobby. Smiley

Next I've added a cute crocheted bracelet for 1 point! go to my shop:
