UFOs, Nemo and Dragon Eggs**UPDATED- Now with Alien Abduction Nite Lite**

Converting plastic eggs into other things is addictive! 

Alien Abduction Nite Lite (with removeable spaceship!)




This creation was inspired by a lamp mady by Heather at one of my favorite blogs, Dollar Store Crafts

The top part is the flat bottomed UFO below, which inside the front of the plastic the small touch light came in which is glued to the glass.

Inside the glass is Shaun the Sheep and his body is made out of mini yellow Easter Egg that is painted white then covered in cotton.  His face and tail are felt and his legs are caps off of pens.







The bottom is just a plastic lid with a piece of green felt glued to it



UFOs
This is a UFO made out of the top of a plastic easter egg, 2 CD's a mini-push light from the dollar store and glue.  It looks awesome when you turn on the light in the dark and spin it on a string, but this is just one component of what will be a night light (just have to get the bottom parts finished now)








This is a glow-in-the dark UFO made out of the bottom of a plastic easter egg, 2 CDs, a battery operated tealight, glow-in-the dark paint, aluminum foil and glue.  It has now taken up residence in our bathroom as it hangs on light fixture in there because you can close the door and turn off the lights and it glows.

Nemo, Found!
Here is Nemo made out of plastic easter egg, orange and black felt, black and white fabric paint, glue and 2 googly eyes.  He still opens up and can be use to hold anything you like - right now he is sitting on top of my desk holding some of jewelry findings.

Dragon Eggs
I made these long before this challenge was ever created, but thought I would share them here also as I like the way they turned out.  They are just plastic easter eggs covered with hot glue from a glue gun for the decoration then painted with acrylic paints or nail polish.

I like the ufo but not for normal reasons. I like it because  I could hang it in the tent easier when camping. we put them in the portolets too. thanks for the Idea

Too cool!  I love them all!  The UFO's would make a great decoration for a kid's room, with glow in the dark tars on the celling.
