I wanted to get this tattooed on my back for awhile, but then I decided on a less permanent option; sewing it onto a shirt.  I sewed the eye together first with white and gray fabrics, then drew the pupil with a magic marker (I didn't have any black fabric).  Then I sewed the whole thing onto the back of my shirt with a zigzag stitch.  Here it is:

The shirt is velvet and the eye is ordinary non-stretchy cotton.
