So I'm taking a jewelry making class and so far this is one of my favorite things I've made. Our assignment was to make a silver band ring out of two sheets of silver and using soldering and overlay techniques. I started off with a way too intricate butterfly wing design and ended up simplifying it down to what you see below. But I really love the way it turned out I never wear rings and I wear this one on a daily basis.

Comments and criticism welcome!

Did you solder the two sheets together first or did you cut the wave in the side first? Very cool by the way, I would wear that everyday too if I had made it.

i cut the design out (including the wave) on the top sheet of silver, soldered it to the bottom and then cut along the edge after they were connected
