So, of course when I heard the challenge this month I knew I would HAVE to join in! I couldn't decide what I would make though. So, my 10 year old daughter thought this up, and I ran with it (with her help of course).

This is what we started with:

Then we began stacking and gluing:

And this is what we ended up with! An Eggsellent Easter Bunny!

And his rear (see his white tail?):

Side view:

Joined in the grass by his friends Mr.Sheep, and the Chicks! (and eggs layed out for a hunt!) Wink

We glued each half of egg together using mod podge, and secured with hot glue. His face is one of the really big plastic eggs with sharpie details! Wink Everything except the grass (construction paper) was an Easter egg that was hunted down by my kiddos!  And no, we didn't even use half of them to make this! Smiley

Thanks for looking!

How cute!  Grin  Your daughter should be proud she helped with such a cute bunny.

Isn't it AMAZING how many eggs those egg 'tubes' (of the stacked halves) use up?!

Wowzers!  That's great, 'toots!  I hope you're going to pack it carefully away and bring it out every Easter.  And by the way, it looks like you've got quite the junior craftster there!

Belladune: Thank you!

TheMisstressT: HA funny you should say that! I took these pics and left Mr. Bunny in the floor to go outside and get hubby (who was sweeping out the garage) to show him, in the 2 minutes it took me to walk out get him and come back in, Chloe (the baby) had torn off poor Mr. Bunny's head! I glued him all back together and then Jaida (the bigger baby) turned around stepped on the top of an egg lost her balance and Squished Mr. Bunny!! I gave up at that point! LOL

I love projects that engage kids to be creative!  What a clever use of all those plastic eggs!  So colorful and fun...and the whole display is just so Easter!

The pictures will make for some fond memories for your family!
