I love this craft or at least I think I do - I found it in book I borrowed from the library awhile back and have meant to do it numerous times but haven't yet...once Christmas is over and I have more time for other crafts again...

I love this idea. So simple and a great use of paper bags.
I want to make one and make it all purdy  Wink Any ideas for decorating it to suit my friend. She's having a baby boy, and I've made and bought lots of bits and pieces, this would make a great basket to put them all in.

She's really into recycling and would appreciate the thought behind it.

The finshed project looks AWESOME! My mum has some but they r made out of purple plastic. When its in progress it looks so much different then the fineshed product.

Btw, good way to recycle!   Grin

I had just been wondering what to do with a neat pier 1 bag I had saved from this summer when I came across this thread. So this morning I got out the ol' Elmers and a pair of scissors and...

...now I have a super neat sewing caddy!

Thanks for the tutorial!

Cool! I LOVE anything that reuses and recycles.
I have had it in my brain to lightly squash a paper back and then cover it with varnish so it can be used as a trash can.

what a great thing to make from news papers and magazines.  I think I am going to try this and see how it turns out.
