Starting to work along a theme, getting ready to focus for my senior year. Working with recycled materials in grey/near grey tones and working with color in hidden areas (insides, linings, ect)

Bag is made from pieces 1 pair of French army boots, 1 Dutch army blanket, 1 leather belt, 1 shuttle of old weaving wool, recovered crewel wool, linen, and black button hole thread.

Added another angle--it doesn't really have a front or sides, it's sort of cylindrical.

Techniques included herringbone, cable, feather stitching, friendship bracelet techniques (for the side split) and cording.

It looks like it's really nice, but I can't tell if any of those pictures is a head on shot.  Huh

I think it's wonderful.  I like things that are made from other things, and this is amazing.  Great work.

I have to say this is by far the single most beautiful and slightly quirky bag I have ever seen!
I love everything about it and the fact everything is recycled, shows you how far you could really take things.
This rocks!
Hope to see more of your work here!!!

Really nice work! I especially like the way you did the color on the inside.

I really like this, it is unique but still attractive.  I would expect to see it in a high end store selling for like 500 dollars!! Epic and amazing, I would feel honored to own that purse.  Good job and good luck Cheesy
