I made these soaps yesterday.  MareMare's dreamcicle soap made me want to add more citrus to my fragrance collection so I bought some dreamcicle fo from WSP.  It smells soooo good(like a push pop)!!  And the chocolate lavender is my new favorite combo.  I'm going to have to get my lavender plants going this year so I can make some chocolate lavender shortbread.  Yum!!

We planted lavender last year but I don't think it is going to do anything this year.  They look horrible!   This year I am going to buy more plants and put them in a better location.  My Basil plants grew like crazy last year though.  I'm really new to gardening so I still have a lot to learn.

I am trying to do the herb thing and grow those..I figure I'd let the kids help so we can incorporate science in there too..

maybe they'll give me some good 'green' luck..

Beautimous on both accounts! I love the choco-lavender because it looks so calming and yet, very chic. The layers look perfect, too!

Add me to the "trying to grow lavender" category. I'm going to try to do basil, cilantro, thyme, lavender & chamomile. Of course I have managed to kill a cactus in the past, so I'm not sure how I'll do...

ETA: Oh! And push-pops sound sooooooo good right now!!

If you have killed cactus then there may be no hope for you Nymeria. lol.  Actually you will bo ok.  My herbs(rosemary, basil, chives, marjoram, lemon balm) that I planted together took off last year.  Though if it were not for my bf my aloe and cactus plants would all be dead.

<----Another killer of cactus

Those look great! I love how you do color, very fun! It's like a little smiley! Let me know if that dreamsicle discolors please! The kind I used to buy discolored pretty badly, which ticked me off because I always forgot and tried to do some fun orangy-ness. I bought some from another soaper (no idea where it came from originally) and it doesn't discolor, but I think I used the last up in the swap.

These look great.  I really like how you used just a little orange in the dreamsicle soap.  Very attractive to the eye!  Smiley  I bet they smell and feel fantastic.
