Crochet Challenge 9 Entry: Hooded Camo Shrug

Here is my entry for the shell stitch challenge....made out of silk tensile greens and greys and charcoal hemp!!
The body of the shrug is mostly shell stitch. The shrug was made for my daughter whom is 10 and she left to visit her Dad for the weekend and then I realised this morning oh no I forgot to take the picture with her in the Shrug so a local teenager stepped up to the plate for me so its a bit more snug fit on her then my daughter I'll photograph her and stick it up for all to see when she gets back. So I hope the picture is good enough for the challenge and please let me know what you think...

lol Poor local teenager finds instant fame and adoration on the craft forum. (She looks a wee bit camera shy.) Honestly though its not a bad fit  considering its made for a 10 year old. It looks cute! I really like the grey and green together... its sort got this urban camo thing going on. Nice..

Yes she was sweet doing it for me ...she didn't want to put the hood on cause it would mess up her hair.....Thanks I would like to make up a pattern, I'll have to decipher my note though.....

Aw this is super cute! Love it! Its really neat to see a shrug with a hood! I hope your daughter likes it, because I know that my 16yr old sister would love it! Really great job!

I love it. The hood is a sweet touch. I just made a shrug in a very simillar shape and may have to add a hood to it now!
