Best of 2013 winner, but this is just as good.

This is awesome.  It took me some time to see everything in it.  Well done.

Oh, my!
Eye Candy!

I can scarcely take it all in...how wonderful it is! I didn't even discern the woodgrain through the glass, with all the other swirly patterned glass involved, but agree that it's fantastic...

And I love the bigger pieces; it just seems more artistic that way!

Ooh, pretty pretty!  Grin  I like the fact that you used the coins and I also think the wood grain through the clear glass looks really neat.

Very cool!

Melbourne is worth way more than 20c. That's the only problem I have Wink

I lived in Perth for a semester, that's why it's a dolla  Cheesy

Perth for the win! I'd make Melbourne worth more than Sydney though-- but that would risk inciting the age old Melbourne vs Sydney argument, and we don't want that, do we?

Seriously-- that is so awesome. I'm in awe. I was thinking about doing a mosaic on our kitchen table-- but I don't think I'd have come up wiht something this cool Smiley Great job!

Very cool. Love it! And I think the different sizes in pieces add to the artistic look. Thanks for sharing!

There's an argument? I thought it was settled years ago that Melbourne is superior.

That's why I know a lot of people from Sydney & Perth. They all moved to Melbourne...  Grin  Cheesy  Cheesy  Grin

*should pack away her parochialism now*

OOh, and somewhat relevant to the topic - puppybreath, did you freehand draw the roos, or trace them off something - their poses and positioning look pretty much perfect, and if you can draw jumping kangaroos, I'm adding another layer of respect for your work.

This is my favorite t shirt.  Cool I sketched the kangaroos from here and the country's outline from a webpage. I drew it all out on paper, then cut the pieces out and traced them onto the table top.
