Here's a caricature of pope Alexander VI, alias Roderic Llançol de Borja i Borja (Rodrigo Borgia).

He's in my opinion one of the worst popes ever, and he was a great fun to paint! I strongly suggest you to look up his name on wikipedia, he was quite a sinful and interesting fellow.

The painting is acrylic on canvas marouflaged on hardboard, and mesures 70'' x 18''.
My college's library has let me known they were interested in acquiring & displaying it permanently. I'll let you know if it happens!

BTW sorry for the bad pictures, i'll get a better one soon, I swear! Wink

He looks like the goldfish with the big googly eyes. (That's a compliment; those are the cutest! Cheesy)

Something about the eyes made me click on the thumbnail... They remind me of my chihuahua, Niki (R.I.P.)  He was an evil one too, but in a cute way.  Love the painting!

thanks for all those kind comments!

imxriotxhere: unfortunately, it wasn't bought by the college. Not appropriate enough, due to the ideologically sensitive nature of the subject. but thanks for the encouragement!

mochaxlight: they're awesome indeed! (and don't worry, he's not supposed to look handsome Wink )

putttipple: You almost guessed my muse! His face was inspired by the cute but ugly mug of a pug.

Thanks again, folks!

HI! :] My name's Pamela, and I am all for peace. I am a 20 year old Art/Teaching Major in San Francisco. I am in love with life, and it inspires me. I'm hoping to get my very own studio soon - one I can call my home, make as messy as I want, and hopefully teach some little classes in! Carpe Diem*
