So I posted this in Discussion and Questions, but because there are so many hair savvy craftsters lurking around this thread...

I decided that I should post it here too.

My hair is super thick, and pretty damned curly.

I want a super drastic a-line and some loverly V-bangs.

I have a pretty small forehead.

And a pretty fat head.

Here's a link for some more info on what I'm looking for...

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=64185.0

So, I'm trying to see if I can possibly succeed with such a lovely cut as an a-line, and if I would look super awesome with it or not.

Thanks for your time, and hopefully your resposes.

Love ya,
            EZ START(Your donkey-esque friend.)

P.S. Do you think I could pull off a septum piercing and a snake bite?

I'm in love with those, even thought they have nothing to do with hair.

I've kind of fallen in love with changing my hair color. Some recent pictures.

This was three weeks ago, with a double dose of red/purple dye.

Then last week I cut it shorter and dyed the bangs orange-y and the rest back to warm brown.

This weekend I am going to bleach the back and underneath, so we'll see how it turns out Tongue The problem with all this DIY hair stuff is it tends to be unpredictable. Well not so much the dye, but I have a habit of being pretty spastic when I cut my hair, lol.

Honey, if it's black hair color then it will turn orange.  Black, if its unnatural, will always turn to a rusty color and then to orange and will stop around yellowish.  If you even get to yellow then your hair will be fragile.  My advice is if you change the underneath then bleach it to a orange and then maybe pick a warm tone color to go over it.  Something deposit only (meaning no peroxide) so your hair will still be in good condition.  Maybe a pretty copper or bright red.  Even a light brown will do.
However, if its natural then it will go blonde.  It may take a while but it will turn.  I've done an asian girls hair to blonde with no problem but the black hair color (dye) is really hard to get out.  Even with color remover it still turns orange.  Take it from someone whos tried several times.

Good luck!  I'm sure it will turn out pretty!

Empty_smiles - Looking good! I like the colour in the front Cheesy

I think maybe in the New Year, I'll colour the front inch or so around my hairline, like somebody (I'm sorry, but I forget who) posted a few pages back.

over christmas break i'm going to bleach my hair and dye the underneath part purple. it's going to be so much fun!!!! right now it's kind of red, but my hair didn't take the red hair dye very well. i love it red though. so once school starts back up, i'll be going dark red. but will the bleach mess up further hair dyings? natural color...

after i dyed it...
