A thought on the colored conditioner - if you use something like manic panic or la riche, save some of it, or buy extra and mix some of it with your regular conditioner. It will stain a little bit so be careful with it.

My argument may be flawed... but I couldn't think of any other examples. Anywho, I most certainly do not see her as an accessory... I'm not one of those "Paris Hilton coordinating my outfits with my furred friend" type of people. Halloween is around the corner and I thought it would be fun. Why am I justifying myself? Geez. For those who are overly sensitive... get over it. This is the internet. I refuse to censor myself... It's not like I harmed her or anything. If someone doesn't feel comfortable with it, well they don't have to look. I too don't want to start an argument. I just wanted to contribute to the thread with a few pics of my kitty's fur. I thought craftster.org was a community full of open minded people.... Seems to me that practically everytime I post something someone gets offended and starts a whole debate/argument. I really didn't intend on hijacking this thread because it's an awesome thread... so everyone should stop bickering about this. If your upset about me dying my cat, that's fine. Don't ruin a happy thread.

Shmooey:
I've been giving her baths every month since I took her home. She's used to it. She used to give us a hard time about it when she was younger, but now she just meows a little and let's us wash her. She doesn't struggle or try to escape or anything.

I'm not sure about spraying it on... I wanted to rinse off all of the residue to make double sure everything would be safe. But like I said I know people who do spray it on their dogs... I would double check with your vet or a professional because I am neither.

As for the dye rubbing off on furniture... well I don't really have any light colored furniture. Everything is dark... so I'm not sure.

Thank you, I thought I was the only one that thought this way... People do get way to sensitive over stupid stuff and start arguments, sometimes just for the sake of arguing. I do love reading posts where people STILL HAVE their own opinions and still express them freely.
Kind of on the same topic, When I was 16 or so, my moms boyfriend brought over his ex wife's dog, and I used vegitable dye (food coloring) to give the little ankle biter blue spots. Oh that was great, that dog was horrendous! But, unfortunatly, everyone loved it...

Geez I thought I was alone.
Someone told me to "stick to my own culture" in my dreadlock post and pretty much that I was a horrendous person for sporting a head full of locks and not being African.

It is amazing how worked up people can get over other peoples HAIR. I use to have multiple mohawks, and I would always get comments, good and bad, about my hair. Like people dont have anything else to do!

I'm happy that I have better things to do.  Cheesy
I had a friend with a mohawk and it was the same for him.

Thank you.
And yes... poo poo on close-minded people.
I'm such a free spirited person that I can't ever imagine being like that.

that is awful! you would think on a site like these you're free to express yourself however you like as long as it isn't overtly offensive. i guess not.

on the topic of craftster arguments, it really irks me when someone posts a thread asking for advice and is soo hostile when they don't get answers they like. i've noticed a few crafters in particular who do that a lot. it's annoying. people need to learn to be less hostile and just easy going. most people here are just trying to have fun and keep the peace.

people really suck
