Ok, so in my opinion dyeing your own hair is pretty damb crafty! hehe  Grin

I'm doing my hair today and I figured I'd like to see what everyone else has done.

Mine is going to be pink and black (as it has been off and on for about 3 yrs) but I'm at a loss as to how to configure it.  So I'm just going to bleach like crazy today and figure it out later, I guess.

Here is what it used to look like and what I was considering doing today (although I'm finding it pretty boring as far as pink hair goes)

My avatar is my most recent pic but you probably can't see my hair color too well because of the lighting.

So yea... I hope a lot of people post because I loooooove looking at cool hair pics  Cheesy

Ok so after about 3 days or so I've kind of finished my hair.  hehe

I always make it a huge long process.... (actually I just only do a little bit each day)

I decided that I wanted more pink than black and since I couldn't figure out where I wanted the black I just did it all pink.... I'll put in black after I get back from vacation next week.

Before (don't know if you can see it but it's just black with a few pink streaks):

After (in all my pink-y goodness):

I <3 Pink Hair!!!

Could you tell me what kind of dye you use for the pink? Is it permanent? Does it fade quick?
Thanks ^_^

Special Effects - Atomic Pink

There's no such thing really as a permanent dye in these colors.  This brand is the one I like the best and it lasts a good long while on me.  I've actually never had it leave my hair completely but after about 6 weeks or so I'll need to do it again.

I had mine bright red last summer, but it's normal now.. Dumb school dress/hair codes.

I love my hair!

It's going dark green & black next week.

Edited to mention: jungrrl I vote for the stripes. They look fabulous!
