Wow.  I love it.  You look great!

I bet it feels pretty light.  I always remember liking how light my hair felt right after I'd get it cut.

So... I posted way back on page 353, I think. That cut didn't work out. My hair is too wavy (and the new chick I went to didn't know what she was doing), but thankfully it's grown out some. Also I dyed the under half of my hair purple graduating to pink, which unfortunately is mostly faded now.

What I want to do now is dye it all over a different color and then do teal/blue chunks. I gotta play with it while I can! I don't expect to have the job I have forever, so... play time is now! Smiley  My question now is do you guys think I could pull off black or a "soft" black with the teal? I know it would really make the teal pop. I'm mostly worried about looking too pale, especially with spring here. Undecided  Once, I accidentally dyed my hair black, and it was horrible. It looked like a shiny plastic Halloween wig on my head. I don't want that to happen again. Shocked  Btw, my eyebrows are black, so at least they'd match. Wink

This is me, but overall my hair is a bit lighter than in this pic.

Edited to change pic.

personally id go darkest brown with teal...its a nice combo and i think black might be too harsh against your colorings

You have the same kind of skin as a friend of mine who dyed over her light brown with black...and she looked SO PINK with black hair, eeek. I wouldn't go full black.  Just make it a bit darker of a brown.  If you must go black, make it a natural black, at least.  Personally I think light blue/teal chunks will pop against anything past like, platinum blonde XD (I wear teal blue clip in extensions in my dark blonde hair sometimes...actually I'm pretty sure my avatar has me wearing them...and they pop just fine XD).

One other thing, from a girl who has attempted dying blue... if you do dye your hair darker, set aside the pieces you want blue and don't dye over them.  It'll be a pain getting them light enough for the blue to look good as is, don't make it worse for yourself! XD Blue's an annoying hair color. (if only it weren't so beaaautiful!)

I like penguins, stars, rainbows and blue.
If your project has any of these, don't be surprised to see me post in it! Cheesy

Thanks white trash hero & Lody! I suspected that it wouldn't work for me. I'll just use a brunette shade. Smiley

I was definitely going to leave the [future blue] chunks out of the overall dye. I don't want to lose chunks of my hair because I dye them, then bleach them, and then 'blue' them! But thanks for the reminder. Wink

so colorfix and color zap are supposedly good for chemical dyed hair, but what about henna. is there a way to get rid of henna red without cutting it off... at all? I LOVE the color, but I want my pink streaks back and henna + dye = henna which doesn't exactly help.
