Has anyone had much experience with natural looking extensions? How are they stuck in, do they look natural, how do they come out, do they damage your hair, etc etc? I'd love to hear your stories!

Arksiel -

Hmm, let me see.
For those colors your best bet would be Special Effects hair dye. http://www.amphigory.com  sell it. Either that or maybe Manic Panic dyes. They last about 3-6 weeks, usually longer on bleached hair with color safe shampoo.

For those EXACT shades, the baby blues and such, you'd need to mix the colors with toner and have very well bleached hair. But considering you don't care much about the money...it shouldn't be a problem. If you'd be ok with neon-ish colors you could just leave as is.

As for colors blending together, you'd probably need to dye the colors in different sections and leave everything else pinned up until you are ready for it. It wouldn't hurt to do similar colors (or well blending colors) together. Such as blue and purple. Purple and red. Green and yellow. But just be sure to get nothing like Red and green or a dark red and yellow together. You'll get poopy browns. >_<

As for getting pictures, I browse communities on livejournal, myspace, vampirefreaks involving hair dye to look for ideas. Also, searching on Deviantart.com for what you want works. Or just browsing their photography can find you some pretty haired models. www.haircrazy.info also has a nice color gallery. Smiley And a nice one is here http://www.beeunique.co.uk/top15page1.htm

I hope I helped at least a little.  Smiley

Adidas82girl, I love it!!  What brand/color is that? (If you diy, that is...) Smiley

Here ya go Padray..this is direct quote from my super hairstylist..."I used Majicontrast Red by L'Oreal Professional plus 35 vol for the red, and the darker color i used 3vr plus Violet and Red mixer by Matrix SoColor with 10 vol. "   Grin

She also said it was professional hairdye so I don't know if you'd be able to buy it!   Huh
