I'm currently sitting here, killing my arm muscles, as I install some wool dreads, hurrah! Anyway - thought I'd post some pics of some yarn braids and wraps I had last year - they were awesome!!
(having dejavu - wondering if I've posted them before.... hmm, well, twice the fun I guess...)

Omg, I love how you left your bangs, that looks fantastic! I was tempted to do wool dreads a while ago, what do you think of them?

I havent had my hair cut in years. Every so often I just decide I want a drastic change, so I decided to get a hair cut. I was going to color drastically, too, but didn't. They did an all over color in a warm brown (a little darker than my natural hair) and highlighted in a  beigey blonde. In all, I think they took off about 15 or 16 inches, of which I donated 11 to locks of love

Before:

(horribly blurry, dirty mirror shot)

You cant see the highlights as well because of the lighting, but theyre a lot lighter than this

(I also made the scarf Im wearing!)

I should go through all the pics I have of me and do a "vanillaxlight's hair through the years" collage...

(the scarf is tunisian crochet Grin )

I think mullets are underrated. I was thinking of growing one. Go for it.

My hair isn't as dramatic as everyone else here's, but this is what it looks like now..

And here's what my friend had done to it earlier in the summer.

She had pretty awesome hair which faded from electric blue at the top through purple to hot pink at the ends.  I'm not sure if I should post pics of her without asking her though..

Wow they look great, how hard were they to put in? They're a semi-permanent thing right (you can take them out if you need to)?
