surfergirl- Hey! I can't see all of your hair, but I think she gave you the cut you asked for. After you wash your hair, towel dry it and add a smoothing serum of some sort. Blow dry it half way with your head upside down for added volume. Use large velcro curlers on your hair and let dry completely. Undo curlers and finger style your hair (Since the are BIG curlers, they will only add volume and the basic curl Nicole Ritchie has) Lightly spray with hair spray to insure it lasts. Looks so simple in the photo, right? heehee the amount of work in simplicity!

ahh thanks Wink

i'm hoping to grown everything back out.
lets see how that actually turns out  Undecided

I've just read through most of this thread, and i have been inspired/encouraged to go for cutting my hair. It's currently just past my shoulders, and the shortest it's been since i was 6, so naturally i'm wary about cutting it! I'm thinking about having it just long enough to pull back into a band, and layered-ey.

my hair was platinum and then i got pregnant and shaved my head into a mohawk, and then shaved it completely off and let it grow back (keeping it in a faux hawk the entire time mostly, it got a little mulletty before christmas)...so then i got it cut into a faux hawk and dyed red down the hawk (it looks pretty subtle at times and pretty crazy at times). ANYWAYS, i'm getting my buddy/hair stylist to dye the hawk blue or green or purple in places and leave the red as well when i go home next week. yeah. so nothing special or awesome like i used to have, but this is what it looks like now:

I miss having short hair. The boy likes it long. I get really tempted to cut it when it gets hot. It gets to be around 106 degrees where I live so short hair is nice. Maybe I will cut it this summer.Or just go red again.
