Right on! I love the boldness of the flame pattern, nice match on the shoes, by the way. (My name is Dorothy & I have a fondness for red shoes). I would have never guessed it was your first attempt.

As for zippers, I saw a "Threadbanger" Podcast on that very subject and learned a clever trick they shared. Instead of pinning down the zipper they simply taped it and then ripped off the tape after it was sewn! It's so logical, I don't know why I never thought to do that before. I haven't tried it yet, but next zipper I put in I'm definitely giving it a try.

Thanks for the tip, Dorothy (lover of red shoes... hehe). It seems like such an obvious solution once someone mentions it!
