I'm so thrilled that I was able to send on time! I dropped it off at the post office this afternoon.

At the same time, I'm sad because it's my first quilt ever, and I put a lot of heart into it. Sad It's always hard to lose a first anything though I guess.

I'm really bummed because I woke up this morning with a really bad migraine and even had my dad stay home from work so he could watch my daughter for me while I slept half the day away.  Sad  All I have to finish on chrsdx's quilt is the binding and I'm going to get to it right now and ship tomorrow.  I still feel like total crap with this headache... migraines are the worst.   Embarrassed

Well, it's finally wearing off!  Cheesy  And I finished, so I will definitely be shipping tomorrow.   It was reallllly hard to see to sew the binding, though, so that looks a teensy bit wonky at the corners.   Undecided  You do what you can when you can only see out of one eye, I suppose.  Tongue

I'm glad you're feeling better, my boyfriend used to get migraines until we discovered that they usually only happen when he consumes aspartame. They took him out pretty bad, but now he just cuts that ingredient out of his diet.

Maybe you have an allergy?

Jenicat, you get mad props for sewing with a migraine.

I used to get migraines for weeks at a time because I would get sinus infections that were caused by I didn't know what. People kept asking me if it was allergies, and I always said I didn't have allergies. But, guess what, it was allergies!!!

Now that I've started taking allergy medicine (like Walgreen's version of Claritin) I haven't had a migraine in a couple years. I don't take it every day, only when I start to get that stuffy feeling or if one side of my head starts thumping even just a little.

They were baaaad. I know exactly what you mean when you say "one eye," lol. Ok, it's not really a laughing matter, especially when you're puking into the toilet all the tylenol you just took, but, yeah, I've been there.

So I completed the sewing part of my quilt last night, but there was a painted or applique element that I was thinking about adding, but I'm not sure it will look any good. I'm also not sure if I don't add it the piece will make any sense.... Grrrr.  Huh
