oh my gosh, that's great! too cute. :] my kitty does that occasionally, though never leaving anything behind -- i think her butt just itches. LOL. what a cute idea you've come up with -- i bet this gift was greatly appreciated (& the humor that comes with it)!

The little pink 'hole is hilarious.  On a more serious note, my cat used to do the butt scootin' boogie as well.  We mentioned it at the vets when we took her in for shots, and the vet looked around back there and said that cats have little sacs on either side of their butts. Those sacs were full of nastyness and that's what was making her butt itch.  Unless ur okay squeezing ur cats butt to get that nastyness out, you might want to take her to the vet or if you have a friend who's a vet tech, they could do it.

Lol that's hilarious. A while back there was this carpet cleaner commercial(Bissell I think) where the dog scoots across the carpet and the little boy says, "Look mom Toby learned a new trick" and the mother shouts out "Toby!!". Well anyways whenever my Jack Russell Chewie does this we call it 'Pulling a Toby' lol. Cheesy I know but fun, my JRT doesn't do it alot maybe once out of a while few months or so but he leaves no tracks but I still pull out the Green Machine and go over where he pulled his Toby.

Hysterical! I've seen dogs do this before...but never a cat! Maybe mine is just more discreet?

LOL thanks everybody!  I never knew there were so many pet owners who had this little problem!

This is true.  Scooting may also be a symptom of worms, so you have to be on the lookout for that.  For Mongo, though, it's always just a case of the dingleberries.

LOL!!  My cat does that too!  His name is Scoots, and when he does it, I call it the "Scootie Shuffle"  LOL.  The pink "accent" is sooo funny!
