My boyfriend and I love the Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. For his birthday I decided to try to make him a flapjack doll. This is my first original crochet piece and I think it turned out pretty well Smiley I am particularly fond of the hair (took me several tries to get right) and the hands.

If you aren't familiar with the show it is a cartoon on Cartoon Network about a hapless young adventurer, his adoptive whale mother/dwelling and his mentor, Captain K'nuckles. I think it is hilarious, you can find it on demand if you have comcast or at http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/tv_shows/flapjack/index.html

I would love any suggestions or criticism!

Ive never seen the show.  But for your first original amigurumi you did the most amazing job!  I would of guessed you designed other amigurumis before.

One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its black gates are guarded by more than just orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep. The great eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with fire, ash, and dust. The very air you breathe is a poisonous fume.......

FLAPJACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ***squeeeeels uncontrollably!***

I LOVE flapjack (courtesy of my 10 yo DS!).....can't wait till he gets more popular and they start merchandising as crazily as with the spongebob stuff. It's probably the funniest and quirkiest cartoon I've seen in years.

**awesome job on the doll..... Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
