I really wanted a nifty way to carry around my hooks, and I came across this pattern and fell in love! I changed the stitch for the hook holder to better suit me and the kinds of hooks I use, but other then that..I <3 it!

All rolled up!

Another one *better view of the tie, which was my first afghan stitch!*

TADA! unrolled!

I love it!
Do you have a link where you found the pattern? I've been dying for something handy to hold my hooks other than my pencil cup! haha

-I give up on making TOL pendants.  If anyone would like to have my stone chips, wire and ect.  I would gladly trade it all for some knitting/crochet stuff.

-Currently crafting.....A Weasley blanket.  I'd love some squares made from fellow Craftsters.

Okay you guys SO aren't allowed to laugh, but my husband got me The Complete Idiot's Guide to Crochet for a gag gift and it was in there, but I pretty much stole the idea and ran with it, just choose your colors and make your roll the length and width you want, then what I did for the hook holder was did 5 rows single crochet for my small needles cause I'm an Ami addict, then 5 rows of half double, and 5 rows of double for the larger needles. The book is really neat, embarrassing to own yes, but has some really neat ideas and patterns but you could easily recreate the sushi roll with basic single crochet stitches!

That is such a fun hook holder. Cheesy
My poor hooks are living in a velcro pouch. I may just have to make one of these.
