I love the art deco print, too.  And the lavender, but I just love all things lavender.  Cheesy  And Francois, the amurguri French man with the baguette.  Because what stereotypical French man isn't named Francois?  Wink

Ooh, such cool stuff!! I love the ami man, the girl illustration, the mags and Tintin! (Milou!!!). Sooo cool! Speaking of stereotypes, Americans often think French guys are all named Pierre. Mine is named Philippe, and when I told my Mom I met a French guy she said "And is his name Philippe?"! Weird!  Cheesy

I just came back from London to find an awesome package from Nataluna. I received the two MOST AMAZING painted Ikea mirrors I could ever imagine. Honestly. I showed them to my coworker and we both agreed they looked gorgeous!!! Wink  I also got a "Bb" stamp which will certainly prove useful in the months to come... Plus Lara bars. EIGHT lara bars. I am now carefully choosing the days on which I will eat those babies! Cheesy

I will post pictures asap! (and I'm so glad Nataluna received her package!)

now that the first part has arrived, i am less paranoid to send the other box.  i do have something almost finished for the mini-vous, but i keep forgetting to do the last step!

ETA:  i am a little impatient to show you guys the mirror frames, because i was so excited how they turned out and so relieved that they reached AuHasard.
so i have made a post about it over in housewares (are mirrors housewares?  i hope...)

Ok, according to my tracking number, my partner received 5 days ago. I havent heard from her, so I figured I would go ahead and post what I made her.
Whole package

Card

the dot towards the upper left is a big black rhinestone.

Since she lives in France, she said she didnt really care to get anything with Eiffel Towers or whatnot on it. She said she was really into French cooking, so I decided to make her things that related to cooking.

apron- BTW- her favorite colors are black and white, which is why EVERYTHING is black and white. I really wanted to do this in a Damask, but this is the most "French-ish" fabric I could find in B&W.

Pot Holders. I HATE how I am always loosing one- so I made ones that are attached, and they hang on the stove perfectly. I REALLY need to make myself some now.

Cookbook- My printer died on me, so I had to do the title by hand. However, I did not glue it in as I didnt know if she would like the hand drawn title.

Each one of these papers was a divider- I just condensed them so I didnt flood this with even more pictures than I already am. The colors really are all the same IRL. Shadows and lighting from my camera is what makes them all seem different.

I filled up the rest of the package with lots of different American candy.
