I have this awesome vintage aluminum chair we found at a thirft store years ago. Over time we've had to recover it and repad it. I love how easy it is to do it with this type of chair as all the pieces are uber sturdy and it comes apart and goes back together easily.

Before (It actually looked a lot nicer when it was first done)

After using IKEA fabric

The whole process is at http://solidityofrainbows.blogspot.com/2010/01/recovering-my-vintage-chair.html

Go get a vintage chair!

Looks great. The fabric gave it a whole new life.  Smiley
