Tonight I'm trying to make soup...

it will have barley, potatoes, veg broth w/ a couple vegetarian beef bouillon cubes and some more water (didn't buy enough veg broth at whole foods...and it's 45 mins away!) carrots, onions and a lot of spices in it. I REALLY hope it turns out well- hubby will only eat soups w/ no meat if they're really hearty.

Served w/ some crusty rosemary bread Smiley

We had pasta with garlic/onion sauce and sauteed bok choy (vegan margarine and more garlic!)- not the most traditional of pairings but we got a bag of bok choy for 3 dollars in Chinatown...it's huge!!! We've already made tofu Chinese dumplings and have decided it's bok choy with every meal from here on out...  Grin

We had sushi. I'm usually in love with my sushi, but for some reason i thought it tasted way gross. Think I messed up the rice or something...
