i thought it would be nice for us to have our own version of the ever popular whats for supper thread.

tonight we're having terryaki tofu and veggies over brown rice with a raw zucchini, chunky marinara salad, and grapes

i love personal swaps. i'm looking to swap my art or paper crafts for some re-usable fabric snack bags, fabric sandwich wraps, fabric paper towels, glass pendants, ephemera, or art books.

Good thought morglanc!  Why should the other board have all the fun!

Tonight I am going to attempt to make a gratin from some root veggies (turnip, carrot, sweet pots & potatoes) and serve with some steamed green beans & broccoli.  If I'm successful (and it tastes OK!) I may even post pics later... if it doesn't work out then we could be having takeaway!   Cheesy

i need to try polenta...it always looks and sounds so tasty!

 tonight we had "tu-not" salad, tomato and lettuce wraps...... it is interesting, but tasty for sure

Lentils, I think. Haven't decided what to cook, but I feel like lentils. Maybe something to go with quinoa, or soup.

I think tonight is a bean night. Black beans w/ salsa and tortilla chips, prolly. It's just me at the house, so canned food is super easy.

Tonight it's a white bean and vegetable gratin from Simple Vegetarian Pleasures (LOVE this cookbook!) with salad and bread/cheese.  I'm cooking the beans from scratch today, which I've never done before!
