Yeah I'd love to see close ups on those two pillowcases!  I love dragons - and I like how she tied those two cases together with the dragon on the bank watching the pirate ship...

It was sort of hard to get close ups as the designs are so large. I didn't want to cut any part out of the pic! I did upload a closer pic of the dragon to my flickr.

I'm so glad that you liked everything, AlwaysInspired! And super happy that you can wear those earrings  Cheesy ...I'm allergic to nickel, so I understand.

I posted the pillowcases to their own thread (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=305322.0) where I have some good close-up shots. This was such a fun swap!

All I can say is WOW!  I'm totally jealous. Wink

I checked the DC on my partners cases and they attempted delivery on the 15th.  Hopefully she'll get them tomorrow! (Fingers crossed!) Grin

Wow! That dragon/ship set is just amazing! I love how you used variegated floss on the clouds, the effect is so cool.

i'm so glad you like them. i had a hard time choosing a direction to go for you z_s. everything i drew came out too literal so i morphed it and morphed it and morphed it into something i thought could be appreciated by any lover of hand made. know what i mean? everything kept coming out "too... -something-" and its so funny we both ended up with the dia de los muertos theme. similar souls i suppose!

Mel, the only thing you cases are "too" of are "lovely."  Wink And that's not a bad thing at all! There's just something about the clean simplicity of the lines that lets the colors and the overall look shine through...does that make any sense? You've made tissue paper flowers practically elegant! I hope you keep designing more embroidery patterns, I would love to see what else you come up with! Smiley

ok before i post my pictures i must get my eyes back in my sockets because as soon as i opened my package i looked like this Shocked there is sooooo much attention to detail it is amazing my favorite part of both the cases would be the satin stitching they are SO BEAUTIFUL!! ok so to keep you ladies from waiting here is the amazing beautiful pillow cases i received from Anya Kase.

the first case

the pictures do not do the real life justice there are 2 different shades of red, green and pink which make the whole pillow case just pop the beads on the girls hand are are flawlessnow im not sure but if this is her original, the drawing techniques used to make the image seem really are defiantly superb the way she made the underwear and the bra made the image so realisticand of course i love her hair its soooo cute!!!!

the second one

once again the details in the stitching are defiantly amazing from the feathers on the bird, the textures on the breast, the butterfly stitch is too cute!

and here is a picture of the back

im SUPER HAPPY with my partner and now im ridiculously nervous as to what she'll think about her cases i hope she will like it  Undecided

i think this is sooo awesome i wonder could i repost this in the embroidery board???
