I whipped up this cute top from this tutorial  http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/?p=791 from Sew Mama Sew http://www.sewmamasew.com/blog2/ by Rae from Made by Rae http://madebyrae.blogspot.com.  I really like it!  The tutorial was very well made and easy to follow.  The only thing I had to change was to take in a couple of inches from each side, it was a bit of a tent on me!

I saw this tutorial yesterday and was worried it could turn out a little bit tent like, but yours looks ace. You've definitely inspired me to give it a go!

That looks lovely. I may have to try making one. I've been wanting to make a top for ages but I wasn't sure where to start!

Very cute. What sort of fabric did you use? Are there darts for the bust?

I just used some quilter's cotton I had lying aroung.  There are no darts, but there are pleats on the top of the front and back that you can see in the original pictures but not in mine.

very cute Smiley
I wish tops like this looked good on the busty...I would totally wear that if it didn't make me look 7 months pregnant. After looking at the blog, though, I think I've figured out how to modify it to look a bit better on a big gal Smiley
