Here's my newest portrait--of my baby sister.  We call her 'skinny'.

I thought I was finished, but decided to add more luxurious hair.  I'm much happier with how it looks now.  Smiley  Although, it still doesn't do her justice.

In Progress--really trying to get her eyes just right.

I thought I was done!

Up with my other sister (in pink)

I don't have my reference picture--but here is another picture of her, so you can get an idea.

I'm planning on doing one of my brother, too--in green.  I want all of my siblings done!  and my parents!  and my fiance!  Everybody gets a portrait!

What do you think?  Better?  Could be improved?

As always: thank you all for your support!  Smiley

So beautiful. I love seeing this kind of work.

Your sisters are beauties, too.

Excellent work! well done - it looks just like her.

I have embroidered a couple of portraits, so I know how careful you need to be to get a good resemblance.

Your first sister portrait inspired me to make one of my sister too, http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=286582.msg3247506#msg3247506

Thanks for sharing Smiley

beautiful stitching, love it in blue, any reason why you chose blue for one sister and pink colors for the other one?
