My Signature Recycled Bag

View Profile
« on: April 25, 2009 10:25:37 AM »

Here is my crocheted recycled plastic bag (plarn) water bottle holder. This is a quick project that took only about 20-25 plastic bags and makes a great bottle holder. This is designed for the smaller water bottles or reusable beverage containers. I made it with a long sling strap so you can wear it over your shoulder and across your chest.

My only regret was that I didn't have enough pretty blue bags to crochet the strap in blue too. So I had to finish the strap in white bags.

I really like it. Cheesy That color blue is really nice. I think its good with just part blue, the white makes the other color pop.

I cant tell if the strap is like a purse over the shoulder thing or if its just a long part that comes off that you hold? To clarify, is it a loop?

The strap is permanently attached at either side of the holder. It doesn't come off but you can slip the strap over your head to you can wear it like a sling bag.

Way to recycle.  It looks really great.  I like the way the blue is stripey(word?).  You did a good job.

This may not happen, since I have had major surgery on my shoulder.
