I received my last 2 birds from Babetto(the Cardinal) and Ma Rut:

The Cardinal is named Wally and I think he is super cute. Cheesy  The other is made from newsprint with hand drawn flowers.  You are very artistic Ma Rut, the flowers you drew are beautifu!  Thank you both, I love them! Cheesy

I got 3 special birds in the mail yesterday!   I adore them. Thank you so much!

From left to right:

Jeane              Babbetto             and Rainbow_Storms

My boy Paul like the copper colored one the best!  I think it is awesome.  I love my blue one is it paper mache?  You did an amazing job painting the eyes and wings.  And my felt one is a combination of my favorite colors yellow and blue.  Thanks again!   Kiss

(ps I promise the cat Garfield was only sniffing them.  I whisked my birds away before they could get too scared!!)

Here is my bird from Jeane. It looks like today was a good mail day for some of us!

All of my photos are hosted at Flickr.

I received my fifth and final bird from Foxlet today. She actually included 2 birds! One is paper orgami.

Thanks so much, Foxlet!

Aww, that little blue one from Foxlet is adorable.

The other ones are so different! I am amazed at the various skills here. Some a simple ane elegant, others quirky and fun.

Here is the bird I received from lukenlarry! Sorry it took a couple days to get a picture, but it was a crazy weekend (busy crazy, not fun crazy...)

Here is my cute little birdie! I've dubbed her Mona Lisa. I love her little wings, the fabric is so pretty! Thanks!

I do personal swaps! Just PM me!

I've recently gotten into blythes; check out my blog about mine here:

I received my third bird today from goatgoddess. She's got lovely silver and gold feathers and the cutest little beady eyes!

Thank you so much! Cheesy

I received my last two birds today! Cheesy

The first one was from Jeane. She's embellished with lots of sequins and is very pretty!

The second was from stargardener. Not only is the embroidery lovely but the tea towel will get a lot of use!

Close up of the bird embroidery.

Thank you so much to everyone who sent me such wonderful birds! Cheesy I'm considering making a mobile with my four spool birdies to brighten up my room.

I received a wonderful little owl from purlgurl today! His name is Erdos, and I love him to bits. Cheesy

Shown here reclining on my calculator. Cheesy (Real mathematicians don't need fancy graphing calculators, yo.) I'm guessing that he's named for Paul Erds, the mathematician? Because that would be kind of awesome.

There were also some pretty stitch markers and two wonderful little sock keychains. Thank you so much, purlgurl! I absolutely adore everything!

Yep, he's named after Paul Erds. The 1938 underwood typewriter Erds used to type his letter, didn't have an umlaut. What's your Erds number? Wink http://www4.oakland.edu/?id=9568&sid=243 . Glad his flight to Finland was safe and sound and that the luggage he brought with him arrived intact as well.
