I just received 2 cute little birds, one is made from newsprint and watercolors, and the other following the spool pattern:

Love them both, the first is such a cool idea and the second, love the fabric choice.   Cheesy Not sure who sent them, but the return addresses said Jennifer in Colorado and Kelly in Ohio.  So hopefully you will both see this, thanks so much!   Wink

I have two lovely birds so far. The first is a beautiful fabric bird from Colorfuldayz. I am totally in awe of the patience and skill which went into this. There must be about a hundred french knots, a technique which I was never able to master. So sorry I failed to rotate the photo.

The next item I received was this gorgeous scarf from KungPow, which was both hand dyed and silkscreened. It's almost too beautiful to wear. Almost.

Thanks so much, guys.  I love both of these. Kungpow, I hope you like what I'm sending just as much.

crafty gurll, the spool one must be from OhThat. I got one of hers too!  Grin She's resting in the cymbidium outside my front door at the moment. Long flight from Ohio. I'm hoping Bumble arrives at OhThat's doorstep soon.

I'm glad you ladies liked the silk screened scarves.  I used this swap as an excuse to learn a new skill and took a workshop a few weeks ago.

Sent off the other three packages today, hope my partners receive them soon!

Yep, I used the spool pattern to make my birds, I'm glad they're all finally arriving (the post office returned all of my birds after I mailed them to add more postage even though I had them WEIGHED at the post office  Roll Eyes  You all would laugh if you knew how many different versions of birds I made before I finally gave up and used the spool pattern-lol

I received two more of my flock today!  Cheesy

First package I opened was from OhThat!  It is a pretty spool bird!  I love the spool bird pattern, thank you!  Smiley

And next I received from Jeane!  It is a pretty wire wrapped birdie with some pretty beads and some extra stickers too.  Cheesy  it is silver although it looks golden in the photo.  Thank you!   Grin
