OMG!!! I received an amazing package from koalascout!!! I thought it was a package from the OWS swap because there were so many things! I received 2 peaches, 6 peach slices, a craft kitty kit, a pink bunny my daughter is napping with and some awesome stich markers. Thankyou so much. I feel bad now I only sent a pear. Pics in a few. I'm in bed (started having some contractions so off my feet) so I have to get my sister to bring me my camera. Thank you so much koalascout.

MAIL's Here! When it comes it never fails it makes me... oh... sorry... anyway! I have pics!Yeah! Sorry if this takes forever to load, but these deserve some love.

First a big box from koalascout who went way above and beyond!

PEACHES!!!
But, wait... theres more!
Slices!

AND MORE!!!!

A fancy kit to make a squirrel! What a lucky girl my daughter is! Then there are some fun beads and stitch markers. I hope you don't mind Dixie, but I will be regifting the stitch markers to a friend who knits. I do not, nor do I have the patience to, knit or crochet. And one thing more! A fancy bag to put all the play food in! I will post that pic with all the fruit I have so far at the end of this post... then again when I have received from all my partners!

THEN! I discovered another little envelope from cuppiecakes83! I got a nifty strawberry! Its so cute! I am currently making some out of felt... I hope they turn out to be about the same size!

Here is the bag of loot including the kiwi slice, a mandarin orange slice, and a reg orange slice I made her myself. I loved the oranges I saw from the other group and made some like it. I have given a couple away... so I wil have to make more, but so fun!

Since Lady L posted such lovely pictures of koalascout's peaches and cuppiecakes83's strawberry, I won't crowd the gallery with more photos of the same.

I do want to publicly thank both koalascout and cuppiecakes83 for sharing their talents with me.  My niece loves cooking and all the items from this swap and the following rounds will be going to her for Christmas so she can cook for her Bitty Twins.  Thank you both again.  The peaches are amazing and the strawberry is so delicate and realistic.

Just thought I would share a picture of the fruit I have received thus far:

Strawberry
Peaches
Pear
Pineapple

And the extra goodies that koalascout included!
(A pincushion, adorable ornament and reindeer candy cane ornament)  There are also cute stitch markers that are already being used.  Cheesy

ETA:  OOPS!  Forgot to add the picture of the stuff from koalascout!  Silly me!

Knitting goal for 2011: knit 500,000 stitches.  24,078/500,000 knit.  I think I'm going to need more yarn...

I just received a lovely pear from SpencerTwins2007 (Jennifer).  I can't wait to be able to give my niece all her goodies.  Here's a picture of the fantastic pear Jennifer made.

I feel the need to add a request..

PLEASE crowd the gallery with pictures of your fruit! I want to see where they are living... how they are being played with... what is being done with them! I loved the roaming gnome shots even if they aren't on the gallery page. They make the whole thing that much more fun.

I also want to encourage people to post pics of other fruit they have created as motivation for us all. I have a banana in the works and I made orange slices because of the fruit I saw the other group making and I feel like if we are all here to make fun food for our loved ones (or ourselves) isn't inspiration the name of the game?

I LOVE photos!
