A couple of friends are getting married in June.  The bridal shower is in early May and I really wanted to craft something for this couple.  The groom-to-be is a big comic book fan and in particular likes Neil Gaiman's Sandman and the bride-to-be is a big fan of Tank Girl.  I decided to try and embroider them onto a couple hand towels from Micheal's (never embroidered anything before.)  I have been looking at them for so many hours straight, I am not really objective anymore and driving myself crazy.

I am pleased with Tank Girl, but Sandman is such a heavily shaded character I am not sure what to think anymore.

I live under a rock, so I'm not really familiar with Sandman (yeah, everyone else I know is totally nuts about anything Gaiman), but your Tank Girl is AWESOME!!!!!!

As a set they look really neat too.  I love the names stitched on their towels too.  Great job!

The Sandman is very good, but you nailed Tank Girl dead on!  Great work, I'm sure you're friends will be thrilled to get them.

They look great!  I recognized that Tank Girl smile from the thumbnail.
