My mom made me the summer blouse from Weekend Sewing by Heather Ross, but I found the shirt too short and the sleeves to long.  So I modified and came up with this.  I blogged about the modifications more specifically here: http://fashionedbymeg.blogspot.com/2009/04/summer-blouse.html

Overall, I love the fit but don't know if it was the right fabric.

I think the fabric is great! I like the fit too. Is it a knit fabric?

No, just a soft cotton I got at Joann's.

It's very nice! I like the fabric as well. I'm used to making clothes of the whole-colored fabric, but this year I decided to change this habit and make two colorful blouses. Yours inspires me so much! It's a really beautiful blouse!

How pretty and summery!  I see tops like that in upscale shops lately, they are very stylish!

Love, love, love this pattern on the fabric. That's such a summer patter, for sure.
