Do I really need another bag? Ha! Of course, I really loved this Hobby Lobby fabric. I made is as sort of a prototype for one I want to make for my mama. Hers will be bigger and with a flap possibly and an adjustable strap. I think it came out pretty well. The Darts on the bottom are a bit out of whack - I must not have lined them up very well. The other option was to make the yoke seams off center which would have been worse. It's also my second attempt at a recessed zipper (the first was an utter disaster.) and this time I actually followed the directions.

Great job...what pattern did you use?

The pattern is my own, made in Photoshop. I took a squareish shape and curved the edge on it and then put in the darts. The darts were supposed to go deeper but I mis-placed the pockets inside and they got in the way. For my Mom's I plan to make it wider and I may make the yoke a bit narrower. I have this adorable Michael Miller fabric -  the little cowpokes one - and I want to make sure to have plenty of room to show off the panel as well as a couple of pockets inside. She likes pockets - like me!

Really nice!  I have always loved paisley prints!  I like the style of the bag as well.  Thank you for sharing.
