I'd love to but I'm stuck in Cornwall until the beginning of July because that's when I have to move out of my campus flat and into my student house for next year. The day I finally make it back to London is the day the exhibition ends so I'm going to miss it Sad. Hope you have a fab time when you go!

Welcome back Mango Smiley Maybe we could meet at the creative cafe (seems apt!) I am up for a trip to the V+A too, I'm definitely going to see the show, just haven't decided when but a friday evening would suit me fine. Wouldn't it be fun if we could get a little Craftster meet up happening for it? Come on everyone it is supposed to be an amazing show!

I've not posted on craftster in ages, and I've only just found this thread so thought I'd say hi Smiley.

East Londoner, here. Nice to see there's at least one local person surfaced in the thread so far ^^

What was it like in the end? I wish I could have tagged along but am determined to make it there at some point before it ends in a few weeks Smiley

It was very good. It's amazing to think that most of those quilts were made by hand and imagine the time and care that has gone into them. I particularly liked the contemporary quilts. I hope you enjoy it when you go.

I am going to be in London for the next couple of days, leaving today until thursday evening. I will be in Bethnal Green, if anyone is around for a cuppa or a drink.

Sinte you seem local, and from your profile we may have some things in common, so pm me if you fancy meeting for a drink

Hello chaps! Just thought I'd use the old defibrillator on this thread -

I thought I'd mention that a stitchn'n'bitch recently started in Streatham (SW London) - we meet every fortnight (Tuesdays) at 7:30pm in Perfect Blend (opposite Streatham Hill station). If anyone fancies joining us, our next meeting will be 5th April Smiley

I know there's an East London Craft Guerilla, but what about a South London one? There seem to be a good number of South London crafters lurking about...
