Wow, Struwwelpeter and Paulinchen are just as scary as I remember them from my childhood

I received from gavagai today, here's my great lovely package:

Swedish fabric (you wouldn't believe how hard it is to get any cool prints in Germany), and the softest handpainted yarn that my nalbinding needles will ever have seen


gavagai made me these totes, the left one is in my favourite colors, blue/green/black, and the right one was made after my wish to have something with a reference to Sweden. I love the Dalarna horse, and the print is a cool sunflower pattern.

Both are lined, and the horse tote is reversible and has a large zippered bag included. Both will be project bags for the bus, or everywhere

A needlefelting kit! With instructions, and everything I need for getting started. Can't wait! Felting scares me a bit, but I have done needlefelting before and loved it! Ah, all the ideas it gives me!


And look at this newspaper from 1876! I would love to frame it if I wasn't scared the light would destroy it. So I will just enjoy carefully. I have already studied the ads (which don't require to follow full sentences, hehe). I didn't tell gavagai how much I love old books and magazines, so this was a perfect surprise!


There is also some Swedish moose candy, for those moose-crazed Germans that roam the Swedish woods and nick the moose warning signs (I can't deny I wouldn't at least be tempted to do so ).

I'm getting so nervous to see what Perlabella thinks of her bunny! It's the hardest crochet pattern I've ever done, and I spent a lot of time on it. I want her to love it so much!
