I received a LOVELY package from superhooker today!  Wow!  Here's everything:

She knit me a beautiful vest (it's so academic, perfect for teaching, I love it), the most beautiful crocheted-flower shawl, Bella's mittens (yay! i wanted these all winter!), and a gorgeous felted cherry-blossom scarf!  Plus she included a bag of yarn ends (she knows I'm obsessed with scrap-yarn balls) and more squishy fiber!  I can't wait til autumn so I can wear it all (except for the shawl, which is the perfect year-round weight!).  For now, here I am wearing everything!  What you can't see is my HUGE smile!!

THANK YOU, superhooker!!!!

I received a lovely surprise from RhymeswOrange today completely out of the blue!  My first thought was, "What did I order now???"  haha.

Wool roving!!  All wrapped up:

Opened up to slightly show the colors more.  It is practically impossible to capture the true vibrancy of this beautifully dyed wool by camera.

I need to overcome my fear of spinning because this is just too beautiful for needle felting.  Maybe a little for wet felting but too soft and pretty to not have to knit something up.  I have total swap anxiety now!!!

Ok, I've been trying all week to get good pictures of the awesome stuff that oneredboot sent me...

I've got good pics now of everything but the fabulous curtains...

So, get ready for the fabulous!
first, a dante bag!  I LOVE these, and I've been wanting one for soo long!

Next, my new hat:

I love the colors, and it is delightfully scrunchy!!

And knitting goodies!  These needles light up!  now I can knit in the dark!  Also, a set of awesome stitch markers...they are tiny felt balls, so cute!

And, the best embroidery ever!!!!!  holy cow, I totally love this!!

And here's the pics I have of my new curtains...sorry they're so dark!  its been so overcast here lately.  They are really beautiful in person, and they are just the perfect look.  when my hubby saw them hanging, he said, "Oh, SWEET!!!"

oneredboot also sent me a tiny and adorable terrarium...it got pretty shaken up in transit, but it is recovering nicely...I'll get a picture of it up tomorrow.

Thanks soooooo much, oneredboot!!!  Everything is awesome!!!

Nice bunch of packages! Those Bella mittens are gorgeous (even though I'm not a fan of "Bella" myself), the colours on that roving is beautiful, and the curtains certainly seem to compliment your room, superhooker!

Ooh... great package! That poppet is gorgeous, and I'm jealous of the mini-starry night! (Again Wink since I saw another mini Starry Night in the Pendant swap!)
Yep, Jeni's is Starry Night #2! I'm actually teaching a class to kids grades 4-8 in a couple weeks at our local art center on my mini cavases and we will be doing the works of Picasso and Van Gogh!
Jeni's turned out even better than the 1st!
So cool! I'm jealous of the kids at your art centre Wink

The roving is beautiful!  And just to be sure, the roving was an extra package for elociNNicole that I ordered from stefknits on Etsy.  I only wish I could dye like that!

holy crap, this gallery is busting out some awesome handmade goodness!!!!  I love that shawl and the mittens and totally adore the vest, wow!  And those curtains!  They look like someone came over and measured and custom made them... well I reckon that's kind of what happened except superhooker probably gave the measurements but they just look so perfect there and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the colors and patterns!
