Ok everyone.  Get your super wisting fingers ready.

I received an amazing, amazing package from the ever talented and generous Funthreads.  I had been lusting over Athenamat's awesome fairy quilts and even went so far as to get the panel so that one day I could make it because Lana loves fairies.  Haha.  I knew that Lana would probably outgrow the quilt by the time I got around to it, if I ever did.  Luckily Funthreads came to the rescue and made this lovely quilt for Lana.  It is sooo wonderful.  Cute enough for a little kid and yet sophisticated enough that she can use it for a long, long time.  And she even made a matching pinwheel pillow.  Smiley

The first thing to greet us was this beautiful inscription on the back:

All laid out on her bed:

Lucky Lana:

Upclose shots so that you can see how impeccably it is sewn and maybe even see the heart design she quilted it with:

Lana loves her quilt sooo very much.  She spent a good part of an hour looking at the fairies and laying there enjoying her quilt.  Thank you Funthreads!!!   This quilt will be the focal point of her fairy bedroom.  Smiley  Please post better pics if you have them--my camera was acting up.

Then if that weren't enough she also made Lana a beautiful dress!  Lana wants to wear this to school tomorrow, but if I'm going to encourage her to save it so that she can debut it at my mom's 75th Bday this weekend.

And I'm still not done.  Funthreads included some more goodies: a skully needlebook for me (she made one in an earlier swap for my sis to celebrate her new sewing machine), a toothfairy pillow which hangs so as not to disturb Lana sleeping, an awesome lips pouch, and a cute clip!

SWAK!

Thank you so much Funthreads for another amazing swap.  You rock!!!   I keep trying to spoil you, but you keep outdoing me.  ACK!

Lana looks so happy Cheesy
Just remember the quilt is made to be snuggled, used, loved and worn out Wink

I don't have any close ups of the quilt (yours are great) but here is one of the whole thing hanging.
