here is some of my work in oils on canvas...

the nine, this one was just used in a movie

rebirth

still care..
text reads:
Just when you thought ......
you were alright and ok and .....
safe and...
alone,
feelings and thoughts cause moments....
of cloudy anxiousness..
and you cant...
hide that uncomfortable sign...
on your forehead and...
your heart is left bleeding on your sleeve...
and you didnt bring another shirt...
because you werent expecting....
to still...
care.

same mistakes
text reads:
dont you see
that I
am more than what
you ever thought you could possibly
deserve
and deserving is not
what you had planned
but plans
dont seem to go the way
you thought
because thoughts
seem to fall out
when moments are just too quiet
and quiet
isnt quite comfortable.
well no one ever said
everything was going
or was meant to be comfortable
and if comfort is your calm
then let there be

noise.

psychological offspring and subtle existence

well, thats what my oil paintings look like.
thanks for the peep.

hey artasanoutlet,
I wish I could see these for real because the computer just doesn't give the 3 dimensional aspect credit.
Great work! I love them.

Gorgeous!  I particularly like still care and same mistakes -- the layering is beautiful, and I really like the metallic feel you've created.  Thanks for sharing!

thanks!
i'm glad there's a forum on here for regular artwork.

i've been a silly bum and haven't been painting since i'm working on my jewelry and handbags.
AND i live in a really warm sandbox called arizona.  definitely not condusive to painting in the garage.

thank you for all your compliments, that really makes me feel good.
AND want to paint more soon!

These are beautiful. I really love same mistakes, I love how it looks old and rusted. Really great work, hope you're still painting.
