OK OK i finally got the pics up and going!

Its been a rough week. Not only am i pretty sick with a stupid head cold and fluid in my ears and all makin me dizzy but friday was a HORRIBLE day. We had to put my lil doggie of 13 years down becuase hes been really sick and just gotten increasingly worse and cant be helped. It was terrible becuase i had raised him from a baby and used to even rock him to sleep when we first got him becuase he couldnt sleep. So I have been crying for days and that doesnt help while im sick!

Then craftastrophes package came the same day and while it didnt fix everything it did cheer me up a bit becuase of its fantabulastical-ness (like that word? lol)

I just recieved from Sweety and yay!

The purse, in my favourite purple (not so blue as my camera wants it to be)

The circles on the centre pocket is actually a brooch so I can coordinate my other things to my bag

Inside was a covered note book and bookmark (made of gum wrappers?)



A keyring and cellphone charm (love the crazy green bunny)


Israeli candy! Yum! Can't read it which means I'm forced to eat it to find out.


And last but not least:


Prayer shawls (?) in two shades of purple with silver stripes. They're making my dressmakers dummy look much more stylish at the moment.

The bookmark is made out of gum wrappers, it's a 'green', recycled bookmark, you can read about it here:

& the scarfs aren't for praying, they just sell those at the old city of Jerusalem to tourists, but over here a lot of people wear them=]

I received my absolutely fabulous package from Fusbdgt!  She got everything spot on!  I'm so happy with the whole package!  Caution - image heavy because there was a lot of stuff!

It is freaky how similar our cats look! I was showing my husband the pics you posted and he said "It's funny that our cat is on the internet", and then he had to look really hard before he would believe that it was your cat and not ours!
So glad you liked everything.

I'm looking forward to receiving my package. Hopefully Tuesday. I appreciate the holiday for my day off of work, but not the interuption in the mail cycle

if those pics showed his paws there'd be no question who's cat it is. seein as he has polydactylism and all. he has a little sister that belongs to our neighbor that looks just like him only smaller and with just a regular number of toes. Micah went nuts about that package. and then kept sniffing my purse. and then last night my bf and I went to a friends to play poker and his dogs kept sniffing my purse too..idk what it is!?
I love the body spray/lotion btw it smells really good.
I don't even get holidays off! I gotta work later today

I sewed a little matching case for my swap partner's tampons so they wouldn't roll around her bag but decided that it was just too boring, as is.  The dotted interior fabric reminded me of a starry night. 

Soooo I embroidered something on the inside lining, all the while hoping that she isn't sensitive about her cycle/moon phase.
