Very nice!  The owl purse is really cute!  And the crocheted purse and jewelry holder are great as well!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

The purse!

A detail of the paislies. I am a paisley-holic.

The super cute lunch bag that my co-workers envy.

The little pencil/pen case thingy that is paisley-fied and the perfect size for work, since I can't carry a purse in the room I work in. I was looking for something like this.

notepad, the best smelling soap ever (the box smelled awesome when I opened it) and candles.

Notecards

a photo album, paisley tin, and clipies that I will definitely use. Especially the one that says @#%$!

handmade notes, and a book of answers. I REALLY NEEDED SOME ANSWERS!! Like whether Adam is gonna win Idol, and if I'll ever find a teaching job.

Last, but not least...

SHE LOVES IT. I find it in my bed. She carries it around and sleeps with it.

Thank you, SlyFox!!! I hope you had a great first swap, and I hope you enjoy what I sent you!

I am so very glad you liked everything, I was super nervous about sending a package that would be up to par as it is my first swap ever and I had originally intended to knit a purse but I got my very 1st sewing machine for my birthday 2 weeks ago and have been teaching myself to sew. The lunch bag was my first thing I ever sewed with a machine and the purse was the second so I was nervous that my skills were not quite good enough but I am so relieved to hear you were pleased. I hope the box smelled more like soap than catnip as I know that fresh catnip was really strong smelling! I am so glad your kitty enjoys it we started growing it (the catnip) for the couple strays I have adopted and it has just gotten mature enough to finally be used to make catnip toys.

I am sure I will love what you sent.

My package from javede arrived this morning! Here's everything.

The front of the bag is machine quilted. As she says in her note, it's like doodling! It's great and I'll have to try it sometime!  Grin The fillers, because they didn't come out very well on camera, are: a small bag (that has a crocheted flower on the other side which I'll take a pic of later because I don't have my camera here now  Roll Eyes) , a mirror, a lip balm, a tape measure (with an SG-1 logo! Grin) and some cream.

The lining of the bag. Such pretty fabric:

And the pocket in the back, and the lining. Again, pretty fabric!

Finally, a postcard from Denmark, with her note on the back, that will be added to my collection:

Thank you so much, it's all wonderful!  Grin I'll be using the bag tomorrow! Now I just have to wait for you to get mine. I hope you like everything!
