Finally I have taken photos decent enough to post here! Lily truly outdid herself & I got my towels from her before sending out the ones I'd been working on to send...so stressed out a little bit that mine weren't 'enough'...& went back & did a little more work!   Undecided  We agreed to do 5 towels for each other...because in stalking her, I found she had 5 cats & decided to embroider all of them! LoL! A little too ambitious for the time frame in hindsight...so I sent late....embarrassin gly late!

Anyhow, Lily stalked me really good through flickr & found a lot of inspiration in my favorites.  Wink

She drew the doll characters herself & used her resources to make the little backgrounds & borders... so much work & they are so lovely! She used a rainbow of colors & a variety of stitches too!

I am having my father in law install towel racks up one wall in my craft room so I can display these properly without them getting all mucked up in my kitchen! With 2 preschoolers...they would be ruined in a week in my kitchen...and they're going to fit in really nice with green walls & pink curtains in my craft room! They make me so happy!
If you want to read more about them, then check out Lily's blog: http://lilyblogsalright.blogspot.com/2009/05/set-of-blythe-dolls.html

Thank you Lily, for everything!!! You're awesome!!!

csi_princess -- thanks SO MUCH for posting pics.  As I shared with her, my camera broke (my fault, naturally), so I have to spring for a new one this weekend.

Anyway, just wished to add that I LOVE the tea towels and the surprise hello kitty.  I wish everyone could see the towels up close and personal.  It's evident that csi_princess spent A LOT of time -- both on the stitching and the designing of the towels.  They are absolutely perfect in my kitchen . . . though they will likely get designated "company towels" because I don't want to get a single stain on them  Smiley.

As for the hello kitty -- wow, that was a surprise extra.  She did some super-sleuthing to see what I liked and nailed it.

Thank you so much!!!
