So....I made these in December, but I've been busy with uni & stuff.

Anyway, I had the idea for these for a while and I finally made them! It was my first time making fondant...I did make it from scratch but it's not traditional boiled fondant. The photos really don't do justice to the colours, they were SUPER bright & neon :-D

The cupcakes themselves are bright pink & green and VEGAN (as is the icing) <3

I also made lime greem "slime" (icing sugar, colouring & soy milk) to pour on top. The photos really don't do justice though...

Tentacles in the making:

Surprisingly I still think these look yummy! Toxic never looked soooooo good Wink
Boiled fondant?! What's that? Looks like edible poly clay....

Ya just can't stop a crafty girl!

I want this for my birthday cake! I think I am going to have a sea monster themed birthday? =)

I love personal swaps! I knit and make jewelry mostly, but do a few other crafts as well. PM me. =)

I don't know, I was using the "Joy of Cooking" cookbook and I used the easier recipe, not the long "traditional" method it talked about which involved some sort of long tricky boiling method...

A sea monster theme would be awesome! I love anything ocean-themed though  Wink  Grin
