A few months ago i got blessed with a place to sell my sewings, and i worked like crazy to make stuff and consequently forgot to take pictures of most of it, some of it is already sold and i hope to take some pictures of things that i haven't sold yet. Anyhow, this i finished yesterday (after spending a week on 2 dresses that from the beginning felt like no-hopers but you know how it is, sometimes you know you should give up but you just continue anyway) and i am thrilled to have finished something without getting lost halfway through (:

We all make mistakes, and then when you've made enough, they call it experience.

Nice fabric choice. Did you use yellow piping in between the panels? I like the visual separation and line created by whatever you did there!

You can't really see it in the picture but the yellow fabric is waffled, and i made piping from the same fabric. Making piping is actually really easy, just cut a strip of seam 2 times the seam allowance + double the size you want the piping to stick out, fold it over and sew in between.

Sounds like making binding. Smiley It's a nice touch!

The fabrics are contrastingly complimentary. Great visual appeal in this garment and the style is a very nice summer look.
