Thank you sick days! I called out sick, and decided to be productive... even if only from my couch... wrapped in my snuggie. Smiley
These were super easy and cheap, which is why they make excellent Christmas gifts for a young paraprofessional on a budget. I "borrowed" some silouhette style images from istockphoto.com and resized them to fit in a 5 x 7 frame. I cut the images out on scrapbooking paper using an X-acto knife. I glued it all together... and in just 4 short hours I had personalized hand-made Christmas gifts for the ladies in my life!

I'm sharing these because I think they're super easy, crafty, & cheap, which is something I think all of us here are looking for when deciding what gifts to make.

A bearded dragon for my sister, who has a pet beardie!

A dolphin for a friend who works the dolphin show at the Baltimore Aquarium!

A pair of elephants for my super-artsy sister-in-law-to-be!

A pair of birds for another one of my friends who is an ornithologist in the making!

Very nice! And the bird is my favorite, too!

What are guys talking about?! A bearded dragon is far and away cooler than some wimpy birds  Grin
