So, I got these candles from Hobby Lobby and they were being displayed in my living room very prettily until I realized that one of them had mysteriously cracked all around the middle. Still no clue how that happened... but anyway, I was going to take it back for an exchange until I decided to hide it and make them look more elegant.

I bought a piece of scrapbook paper and some tassels and here's the end result:



And what they looked like before (pretty, but kinda blah right?):

That's a great idea. I think it looks super high end, and it's a great and inexpensive way to make a cheap candle look more expensive.

Stop being so damned positive. Staring at the sun only blinds some one. By only looking at the positive, you miss an entire beautiful world of shadows and colors. Don't be overly negative, be realistic. The world is so much more complex and beautiful that way.
