For each of my shirts I use freezer paper and either bleach or this new stuff I discovered called discharge paste. Each stencil is hand cut using just my simple craft knife.
This is a new version of one I did for Halloween. I love that it is pirate-ee without being too harsh for a 2 year old to wear.

These are adorable! Great job! I really like the rocket one's smoke!

Those are all FANTASTIC!  Cheesy

Probably-really-stupid-question-from-someone-who-has-never-done-bleach-stenciling (that's me): I get how you create the white images/text from applying bleach - but how did you get the red/orange/yellow effects?

I use a diluted bleach spray and this nifty stuff called discharge paste (awful name but it is amazing stuff). It can be found only on the net. That is what makes the colors. It removes the dye so you get whatever color is underneath. So cool! Thanks for the compliments!

I love how the cloud from the rocket fades out at the bottom. It's a great effect and it looks really professional.

That rocket stencil is the best! Your shirts came out great!

I don't even know what I like best.  I am totally going to have to make these for my son.  I think they don't have too many choices at stores for boys that isn't mean, so I will be making most of his own clothes.

My friends I am addicted to "crackster".  I think they might be right.
I am interested in personal swaps, just send me a pm!

I love my life, my hubby, my sons, and my 2 crazy dogs!  Isn't life grand?
